Jania is an accomplished singer, dancer and actress who puts on a show that electrifies every time she takes the stage!
Jania has been blessed to work with some of the best entertainers in the buisness including: Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, Bon Jovi, George Clinton, Marvin Hamblish and Heather Headley...just to name a few. Born in Germany, Jania was destined for a future in music. Her parents met in a band (Her mother: lead singer. Her father: guitar player). Jania and her 2 sisters would constantly sing in 3 part harmony around the house and would be the familys entertainment whenever company would come over. When Jania and her family moved to Los Angeles, they instantly started to book gigs doing session work and performances for Michael Jackson and Lionel Ritchie's Children Of The World Project. She also simultaneuosly filmed an episode of 'Amen' (with Sherman Hemsley), showcasing her vocal talents. Jania then went on to sing with Quincy Jones on his 'Back On The Block' album. She performed on such shows as: The Arsenio Hall Show, The Soul Train Music Awards, and The American Music Awards.
She soon became inspired by all of the creative artists that she was working with and began focusing on becoming a well rounded artist herself. She began writing songs and choreographing her own stage shows. She caught the attention of Twism Records and was offered a deal along with her sisters, Tyren and Jaimee. They became TWisM/Interscope recording artists..S.H.E. They released their debut album "3's A Charm". On this album Jania got a chance to flex her creative muscles by writing songs and choreographing their stage shows. She also choreographed Shaquille O'Neals shows.
Later, Jania ventured into acting. She was cast in the gospel play, 'Treat Her Like A Lady.' Her moving performance was magical. Shortly after that tour was over she starred along side Kurupt (Snoop Doggy Doggs..Dogg Pound) and Tiny Lister (Friday's "DeeBo") in the urban romantic comedy "Keepin It Real". Soon after, Jania was chosen to sing with Heather Headley. Jania even choreographed Heather's music video, 'He Is' and stage performances. Catching the attention of the N.B.C. daytime soap opera, "Passions", Jania became the singing voice of the character "Whitney". She even wrote a few songs with the Emmy Award winning producer, John Henry. Her love for traveling took her to South America where she dazzled audiences with her enchanting vocals and playfully sassy attitude.
In 2018, Jania starred in the Los Angeles theater production of "Dream Girls". Her portrayal of 'Effie White' was met with rave reviews from theater goers and critics alike, including the NAACP!
Through it all, she has became a powerhouse of a singer, an extremely moving lyricist, an electrifying choreographer and dancer, and a dynamic performer. However, Jania has a wonderful reputation in the music business for being very professional, hard working and easy to get along with. Jania is a beautiful entertainer who truly has to be experienced to be believed!
